Description

The tour begins at the hotel towards the south of the city of Salta on Route No. 68 toward the town of El Carril.
There continues along the route No. 33 following a path of steady ascent, leaving behind the fertile valley Escoipe and Cuesta del Obispo.
The highest point of the journey is Piedra del Molino to 3348 meters above sea level.
Then he begins to descend through the National Park Cardones by Tin Tin straight through the village of Payogasta.
From there it comes to Cachi, the second most important town in the Valley Calchaqui.
This village is situated 162 km from Salta and its main attractions are the church of the eighteenth century, his museum and its picturesque old mansions.
