How do I pay my reservation?
InterHabit allows payment of reservations through the following means: credit card, bank deposit (available in some countries), PayPal, Google Checkout, Moneybookers and money transfers. More info. Back

Can I pay my reservation when i get to the hotel?
Some hotels provide the option to pay an initial deposit at the time the reservation is made and the balance on arrival at the hotel. Other hotels request payment in full at the time the reservation is made. When you make your reservation the system will show you which option the hotel you have selected uses. Back

Can I pay my reservation without using my credit card?
Yes, you can pay your reservation by means of bank deposit (available in some countries) or money transfer using MoneyGram or Western Union. Back

Are there any additional costs or charges in the reservation amount?
No, there are no additional costs or charges in the reservation amount. Back

Where does InterHabit process my credit card?
InterHabit processes credit cards in the United States, Europe, Argentina and Brasil, depending on which currency the customer uses to make the reservation. Back

Should I enter my credit card information before I have confirmation of the availibility?
Yes, you should enter your credit card information at the time the reservation is made. The system will validate the card by means of an electronic authorization. After the reservation is confirmed, the system will debit the total from your card. If the reservation is not confirmed, the authorization requested will be cancelled. InterHabit uses state-of-the-art secure servers with SSL technology, which guarantees absolute confidentiality and security of information. Back

When will the payment be debited against my credit card?
InterHabit will debit the payment at the time the reservation is confirmed. At this time we will send out the voucher for your reservation as well. Back

How will the charge appear in my credit card statement?
The charge in your credit card statement will appear as a debit equal to the amount of the reservation under the inscription “InterHabit Travel”. It will be in the same currency that was used to make the reservation (except Chilean Pesos and Mexican Pesos which will appear in US Dollars). Back

In which currency will InterHabit charge my credit card?
The charge against your credit card will be made in the same currency that was used to make the reservation. The options are: US Dollars, Australian Dollars, British Pounds, Euros, Brazilian Reals and Argentinean Pesos. If the reservation was made in Mexican Pesos or Chilean Pesos, the charge will appear in US Dollars. Back

What should I do if the reservation amount and the amount that is debited against my credit card is not the same?
If the total debited against your credit card does not correspond to the amount of the reservation, contact us by email on pagos@interhabit.com including the reservation code and amount that appears in the summary so that we can verify the difference. Back

What is an Authorization?
An Authorization is a verification that the system carries out in relation to your credit card to guarantee that it is valid and there are sufficient funds. This authorization keeps the funds aside for 48 hours until your reservation is confirmed or cancelled. So the money remains in your account, but is only available for this transaction. If the authorization is confirmed, the funds are debited from your account and credited to InterHabit’s account. If the authorization is cancelled, the funds are released and remain in your account. What is a debit or charge?
A Debit or charge is an electronic transaction whereby an amount is transferred from your account to InterHabit’s account. Back

What is the difference between an Authorization and a debit or charge?
The difference between an authorization and a debit or charge is that with an authorization the funds remain in your account (they are only kept aside temporarily while the validity of your card and availability of funds are verified), whereas with a debit or charge the funds are transferred to InterHabit’s account. Why does an Authorization appear in my online bank account?
Some credit cards operate under the dual debit-credit system (that is, the same card can function as a debit card or credit card), which is why it is possible that an authorization may appear in your online bank account summary, despite the fact that the amount hasn´t been debited. Back

How long does it take InterHabit to cancel an Authorization from my credit card?
InterHabit will cancel the authorization within 48 hours if the reservation is not confirmed. After cancellation of the authorization, the Bank may take between 4 and 6 working days to update the information in the online summary of your credit card. Back

How long does it take InterHabit to cancel a debit and return funds to my credit card?
The cancellation of the debit will be completed within 48 hours of the cancellation of the reservation. After cancellation of the debit, the Bank may take between 4 and 6 working days to reflect the cancellation in the online summary of your credit card. Back

Can I pay my reservation with a Bank Deposit?
Yes, you can pay your reservation by means of Bank Deposit in the following countries: the United States, Brasil, Argentina and most member countries of the European Union. Back

How should I send money via Money Gram or Western Union?
To send money via MoneyGram or Western Union you must send an email to pagos@interhabit.com requesting the information that you will need in order to transfer the money. Include in your email the reservation code, the currency and the amount. Once we have received your email we will reply to you, providing instructions so that you can make the transfer. You must then make the transfer at any MoneyGram or Western Union branch. Once the transfer has been made, send a message to pagos@interhabit.com indicating the date of the transfer, the reservation code, the transfer code and the amount. Once we have verified the payment (usually done on the same day), the system will issue your voucher. Back
