A fazenda é muito agradável e bem cuidada, porém eu e minha esposa esperávamos mais da apresentação de dança e da refeição inclusa.

Description

The tour to Fiesta Gaucha Estancia Santa Susana is actually an invitation to learn about gaucho traditions. And also to take part in them. During a whole day, visitors can taste typical dishes, and in addition to enjoying different tango and folklore shows, they can take part in horseback riding activities and sulky (typical cart) rides.

Visitors are welcomed with empanadas (traditional stuffed pastry) and wine at the pulpería de la estancia (the ranch’s local store). Later, there is a guided visit to the museum and chapel and, then, horse and break rides.

At midday, a typical lunch is served and there is a tango and folklore show, including malambo de boleadoras (typical dance with a traditional weapon) as well as a display of traditional gaucho skills. By riding on sulky and horseback, visitors can truly enjoy the charm of the Argentine countryside: its landscapes and crops.

The day in the countryside ends with a show and entrevero de tropillas (typical horse game) and carrera de sortijas (ring race), skills that evidence the gaucho’s remarkable control over his horses.
